It might just be books.  Not bookbinding or typography, just books.  On shelves, in stacks, under chairs, wherever &#8212; a row of spines always grabs my attention.  So much potential there, so much information just waiting for my ready eye.<\/p>\n<p>It should come as no surprise then that <a href=\"http:\/\/thenonist.com\/index.php\/thenonist\/permalink\/hot_library_smut\">this post<\/a>, entitled Hot Library Smut, really gets me going. <\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;ve seen images of the Trinity College Library before, but only because of my lasting interest in Star Wars and the <a href=\"http:\/\/ireland.archiseek.com\/news\/2002\/000238.htm\">book-geek scandal<\/a> of the Jedi library.  Seriously, check the link.<\/p>\n<p>While we&#8217;re on the topic of fictional libraries, the Sandman series features the best I can come up with.  The <a href=\"http:\/\/conferences.alia.org.au\/newlibrarian2003\/library_images\/dream_library.gif\">library in the Dreaming<\/a> has not only ever book ever written, but ever book ever <span style=\"font-style: italic;\">dreamed of<\/span>.  That novel you&#8217;re thinking about penning?  It&#8217;s in there.<\/p>\n<p>Lastly, it seems I am out of the running for the Early Reviewers program.  I have been denied for several months running now.
